If you are using it defensively to protect your own spells on your turn, I would cast it in your second main phase, especially if you do not care about attacking
It can't be countered, gives you an extra turn, and shuffles back into your deck if it's somehow put into your graveyard
Maybe something like Mox Opal has them on raw power, but these cards offer broad-spectrum quality
It normally costs twelve mana to activate it, but the cost is reduced by one generic mana for each creature with power four or more your opponents control
This degenerate Gobbo borrows all of your foes mana-producing artifacts when they get tapped, allowing you to absolutely pop off with beaucoup mana taken from your foes mana rocks, likely leading you to a massive turn that might potentially end the game on the spot
