The problem was that the Freebooter couldn't hit creatures, but that didn't prevent it from being massively playable

Other than some small sideboard tweaks, I think the deck is excellent and would recommend it moving forward into Modern

Sapphire still got a lot of great new cards this set, so expect to see a lot more people experimenting with Amethyst/Sapphire and Emerald/Sapphire now
