The community usually prefers black-bordered cards both because of the visual appeal and the fact that they dont show dirt or wear nearly as easily as white-bordered cards
Debut set The First Chapter has no cards that interrupt your opponent during their turn or shut down their actions, leading to a simpler division of each players actions that makes it less complex than other TCGs timing-based strategy
Im aware this card directly contradicts the goal of my article (making you play less of the same cards you and others always keep playing) but if that meta and mindset already exists at your tables, you might as well capitalize on it
Like other very powerful Sagas, this one gets supercharged by recursion and lore counter shenanigans from utility creatures like Garnet, Princess of AlexandriaGarnet, Princess of Alexandria, Sigurd, Jarl of RavensthorpeSigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe, and Goldberry, River-DaughterGoldberry, River-Daughter
Theyre also a weird robot Sphinx, which is kind of cool
