There are traditional versions of characters, known as Storyborn, but the Lorcana universe also contains bold reimaginings in the form of Dreamborn or Floodborn. Dreamborn game cards feature glimmers that have been infused with Lorcanas magic and reimagined in novel ways
With over 221 boxes being sold, its no wonder that prices have climbed so much so quickly
Be aware that you cannot use this card in your inkwell so if you draw it early on it can just sit in your hand for several turns before being usable
It does give you a sneaky strategy to play with, where you'll steal opponents' lore and interfere with their board state while buffing your own questing and challenging characters
With Aetherdrift now in the stores and already being played in Standard and other formats, as well as five more Standard-legal sets coming out this year, 2025 is going to be big for Magic: The Gathering fans
