The card is rather underrated

Sometimes the effect is better, sometimes it is worse

Dig UpDig Up can be cast early to find a basic land, but if you get it back as your one mana card when you cast Seasons PastSeasons Past, you can then cast it for its cleave cost to search your library for Seasons PastSeasons Past (which shuffles back into your deck), and you can do that all over again

All of that is great, but what really makes Valigarmanda in my eyes is the body

Obviously, if you are in a pinch or able to win with a specific card, you can tutor up whatever you need or whatever the current situation dictates
