This card is just great value all around

If he weren't already the goodest boy, he's even better as he comes ready to rumble with Flash

its capable of scaling up to work with larger targets where mana is plentiful, and it even doubles as a nasty combat trick in a pinch

This one in particular deals damage equal to its power to a flyer that attacks you, but because it deals damage you can do all kinds of things with that, from lifelink and deathtouch to auras and combat tricks to force a bad attack

Cantrips do run into one scenario where Im okay waiting on discard

Ral, Crackling Wit is an even funnier name for this card since Ral isnt much of a joker in the story
