The second ability is kind of neat, but Im not sure it will come up all that much
All those turns spent summoning their swarm of flying +1/+1 creatures is negated by playing Simoon
Artwork has been a major boon with Disney Lorcana , and both the Emerald/Steel and Amethyst/Ruby deck feature some excellent art that show off characters like Kronk, Robin Hood, Hercules, and Minnie Mouse in new varieties

While a 6/6 creature is not all that imposing, Deep Spawn has the ability to make itself untargetable until end of turn for just a single blue mana, effectively has some form of evasion with the Trample ability, and also mills cards from the top of your deck in to your graveyard during your upkeep (which can fuel further reanimation shenanigans on future turns)
