Liberty Prime is absolutely a beater, but with no way to protect itself, you're mostly just swinging with an 8/8 for five mana that might also cause you to sacrifice it at the end of the turn
The deck wants to tap opponents creatures anyway, so adding an additional benefit (and there are fewer benefits better than drawing cards) charges up its power

I dont know why but the difference is not that far and still in an acceptable range so I wont complain it too much
Ultra Rare cards have a gold or colorful foil on the card name, as well as a holographic finish on the card art
I've cast it quite a few times (albeit in highly flawed and experimental decks) and it always felt really good despite the fact that it was in decks that were kind of zany
