Your opponents have a turn to answer it before you start taking over, maybe even less if you throw down a Talisman the turn you play it
Mid level cards that are decent threats or let you go big in relative safety are really nice additions
I was confused but also intrigued, I loved the full art card and the idea of not having to use dice to represent token creatures on the battlefield anymore
It also stops the opponent from casting double spells (or at least punishes them for doing so), making Barnabas a solid card for multiple reasons
You cant play red to get haste and eliminate someone from an empty board the way you can with Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest, and you cant partner with Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to kill em all
Its intended to make playing with the new cards more fun by clearing up the common misconceptions and confusion inevitably caused by new mechanics and interactions
