Most of all, Clan Crafter works well in artifact token decks to bulk up a chosen creature and draw a card for more in-game resources

The actual effect is quite narrow in how it can be used as there's not very many cards in the game that actively revolve around the turn counter, but the effect is absolutely begging for a new card to come out one day to create a game-breaking combo
attach this card to it as an Xyz Material, and if you do, the next time it would be destroyed by battle or card effect this turn, it is not destroyed
Playing lots of cheap characters will force your opponent to trade, giving you an early lore advantage, while cards like Rafiki, Mysterious Sage, Control Your Temper!, and Heihei, Boat Snack will help you make favorable trades when your opponent adding too many cards to their board
