While the starter decks may seem a bit underpowered compared to the decks built by others, you'll have access to enough cards to play a game at a great price
One of the strongest drawbacks is the ability that has you attach curses to yourself when they go to the graveyard
Its downside is that it cannot answer expensive things well, and you need to be multi-coloured to take advantage of it, but in both Modern and Legacy that isnt an issue as expensive cards arent played as much and most decks are naturally multi-coloured due to the manabases available in these formats
5 Shadow of the Enemy Yes, Shadow of the Enemy requires a lot of mana to make work, but there are plenty of ways to get a lot of mana even in Tales of Middle-earth (Smaug would like to give you 14 treasure tokens, just as an example)
