I think the only places you would see this getting used now is due to the cycling and as cyclers go this is one of the weaker ones
Or, how about this: let's say that rather than buying one of each version of each card printed in 2020, you started with Zendikar Rising and worked your way back through Magic 's history, buying one complete, non-foil set of every Standard-legal set ever printed
