It obviously turns off engine pieces in the mid-late game too, but Im way more interested in the applications of this in a cEDH deck Ill be honest

You wont have to choose between keeping any useful pieces if you have an infinite hand size effect to rely on
White has a handful of decent ramping options as well, such as Kor Cartographer, Boreas Charger, and Knight of the White Orchid - each of which will help find you more Plains in a pinch
