Covetous Urge is a very powerful spell, as wellit lets you pluck any nonland card from an opponents hand (or failing that, graveyard) and cast it (you do still need to pay for it, but it does fix your mana)
The first set, called the Alpha set in the years that followed, is very different from the sets of today, as the power level of cards was vastly different
But if youre hoping to go with a bunch of different Lords and benefiting from their effects on one creature, this is not going to do that
