Its a bit misleading that the flavor of the mechanic is building an unstoppable army, but the best way to use it is making tiny armies and sacrificing them for value
As a card, Vaan, Street Thief doesnt seem terrible, but it requires too much support that we just cant provide in a Limited environment
With Karn, the Great Creator or Stony Silence, Clues are just silly, harmless tokens that can't be activated
Might be worth saving your bottle caps, but maybe you'll get lucky and find one
This can get white out of situations it normally needs specific sideboard cards for, while still being main-deckable as two-mana removal against random attackers
People wanted this version specifically and they made it a bonus card.
