Sure, it costs five mana and trades down with an Orcish Spy (which might sound like a joke, but as we continue our countdown, you'll see this actually was relevant back in 1995), but you could argue that Deadly Insect was the original Carnage Tyrant
Still, a Verdant Force is gigantic, and kinda sorta generates a ton of card advantage (or at least an unending stream of blockers)
Due to the standard play not providing a very optimal way of farming cards so you rely on playing events in which you have to win a certain amount to really make a profit and for that those decks arent good enough in my opinion
