With such weird cards being printed, Wizards of the Coast has had to find ways to make sure people don't accidentally put a card with Denimwalk (can't be blocked by a player wearing denim) or Art Menace (can only be blocked by creatures with two or more characters in their art) into their normal Magic decks
Masters of Evil is tight , combining all the subthemes (artifacts, myriad, Daleks, etc.) together in a way that makes sense and feels fluid
The same can be said about Niv-Mizzet, Visionary
If you exile two legendary cards with The Kenriths Royal Funeral, then you draw two cards and all of your Legendary spells become two mana cheaper to cast for the rest of the game, at the cost of losing life equal to the greatest mana value of a card exiled this way
Let it die and bring it back again in a loop
Again, that does not usually matter, because you cannot play off-colour cards, and most steal effects already let you spend mana as though it were any colour
