The ability to pay 2 additional mana any number of times and get that many +1/+1 counters is found on a lot of these creatures, but the other options have additional keyword abilities, making them stronger creatures
Low cmc and instant speed is key here
The one things I dislike about this card is that it is a very heavy card that does nothing by itself

It is good because it is an on theme one drop for one of the best archetypes in the cube
