I love a commander that gives you a nudge in a direction but doesnt lock you in too much
Because of his text box, his color identity is Rakdos (Black/Red), making him a top-tier commander for Aristocrats strategies
But in Commander, the chance of sacrificing a creature with seven or more power is much, much easier which unlocks the -7 ultimate ability where target player draws seven cards and loses seven life, doing a pretty good Griselbrand impression (which happens to be banned in the format)
An outstanding card but a fairly limiting one
When you add all of this together you have a very Modern playable card
