Both Guidelight Pathmaker and Voyage Home accrue card advantage efficiently, as long as you can keep your decks artifact count higha task made easier by the abundance of artifacts in the set
The casting cost is right on this
Magic has seen at least one cat that has no problem going to the graveyard (remember that Cauldron Familiar that needed to be rebalanced?)
Drawing a card whenever you cast a spell with mana value 5 or greater is excellent with sweepers like pre-rotation Sunfall, where you can kill every creature and draw a card, with removal spells like Leyline Binding, or with the various Overlords that can enter the battlefield for cheap via impeding, like Overlord of the Hauntwoods
It doesnt do much else than that, but what else does it need to do
