First edition copies, particularly shadowless first edition versions, are genuinely scarce
The Holo is the one that commands the premium, and the enlarged e-Card borders make finding a flawless copy an exercise in patience
Actually doing this in person leads to a lot of players touching each others cards
Your life total is the main one, but sometimes cards left in your library or poison counters you can take before dying are relevant
You are almost never casting Zegana to an empty board, and when you are, you can still draw a minimum of two cards on arrival
I crap on it, but it is the granddaddy of CCGs and this list would be incomplete if I did not put it on the list so here it is, but frankly, I can think of a 100 CCGs I rather play than Magic The Gathering
