I like this card quite a bit more than Dark Apostle because of its cheaper activation cost plus sacrifice synergies
Jace doesnt excel at any one thing, but its generally a well-rounded card that generates tons of value in a game
But while the Zendikar Rising deck focused on Landfall and Kicker, its Commander Legends cousin aims for +1/+1 counters instead
They have less options on the type of permanents they can get but they have less restrictions on the mana value
So it is well positioned in the current meta and that is evident by it's top win rate
