You can bounce your own Character to protect it from a removal effect, bounce an opponent's high-cost Character to set them back a full turn's worth of development, or bounce to re-trigger "On Play" effects
Similarly, if your deck has a lot of card selection and theres an effect that you typically dont want but is very high-impact when its good, running one usually makes sense

In my case, I will give them another try with these, and then probably never play them again
