ROTA is used to put a Stratos or Vyon into your hand (or a Shadow Mist / Liquid if you already have Stratos or Vyon), and FB is used to put Shadow Mist or Malicious into your graveyard (both cards are also great Ash bait)
The fact that this card gets flying after growing makes it an excellent choice for a low-cost beater, and it has great synergy with cards that spread +1/+1 counters on others like Ouroboroid or white planeswalkers that make tokens and give +1/+1 counters to all creatures (Elspeth, Ajani)
You may cast a card from your hand for its warp cost, but if you do, you exile it at the end of the turn
