Even the Warhammer 40,000 decks, which likely would have benefitted from an admittedly less profitable tie-in with the fantasy Age of Sigmar over sci-fi 40k, could skirt past without too much notice

Its nice that we have some card draw attached to Dragons with Dragonlord Ojutai
Expect woodblock-style borderless cards , dramatic full-art lands , and character-driven showcases that would make Yoshitaka Amano proud
While it's a fine card and scales throughout the game, there are a ton of graveyard-centric / reanimation decks in Commander, and it seems unlikely that Gyrus, Waker of Corpses will beat out most of the pre-existing options outside of something like Jund Hydra tribal (and then, it's not even that good with many Hydras since they are X-creatures, which won't work with the reanimation ability)
The unbanning of Faithless Looting may also help this deck
