Mocking Sprite makes your utility spells cheaper and while you can't quite do much by way of infinite shenanigans with it, Pestermite is still a solid little creature that helps set you up for success in combat
Simple cantrips like Opt and Preordain become powerful card draw spells, and since Matoya doesnt have a once per turn restriction, you can draw cards throughout your turn with effects like Search for Azcanta, Retreat to Coralhelm, and Palantr of Orthanc
