From a competitive standpoint, Whispers in the Well added a ton of competition-ready cards and shook up the meta nicely following Fabled's laying the foundations and bringing in new waves of players.
Heres my current attempt: Creatures (3) Lands (22) Spells (35) Im playing some other Alchemy: Innistrad cards as one-ofs to try out, but Im not sure theyre good yet
However, the design of these three is great where they all fill a similar role, are similar power levels, but have some key differences, so it will be deck and meta dependent for which one is best in a given situation
Again, this deck is the same ink type build as one from The First Chapter , with, of course, entirely different cards
But an open one is still pretty good
Before Ravnica: City of Guilds first introduced shocklands in all their versatile and graceful glory, non-basic lands were the last piece of the deck-building errand
