I decided recently to pick up a couple starter decks I saw in the store (the relevant one to this question being Mewtwo Mayhem theme deck) just to see, out of pure curiosity, how far the game has come and how much it has changed

(4/26/2014) If another creature becomes or enters the battlefield as a copy of the token, that creature will have haste, but you won't exile it

Without needing to purchase cards or decks, while still having the option to compete against human opponents, YGOPro makes it easy to recreate decklists seen online to try for yourself

This isn't like Steamflogger Boss where it featured a mechanic that didn't exist as a joke that was never originally intended to be printed

Managing something like this at a competitive level would be horrific but, given that cards that have to be banned keep getting printed, maybe its best to just accept that things dont always need to be competitive to be entertaining
