What I do believe might finally be plausible is a Persistent Petitioners deck with Bruvac the Grandiloquent at the helm
That being said future printings might buff Wrenn and Six since its potential for being a land recurring threat are high, but for what Modern is now I dont really believe W6 deserves the second place, or to rephrase it: Definitely not in comparison to Shardless Agent
If you target an uncounterable spell like Abrupt Decay with a Counterspell, the counter simply fizzles and does nothing, similar to when you target an indestructible permanent with something that says destroy. You technically can do it, but it has no effect other than ticking up your storm count
