Part of me doesn't want to fall into the nostalgic trap of thinking Magic had an essence that is now being lost, but the other part knows if Wizards of the Coast is going to keep Universes Beyond legal in Standard, it could at least try harder to make the cards balanced

Why was I not afraid of it until the last week, you ask

Outside of Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares, white has been completely starved of playable, instant-speed removal for decades

It costs no life so that issue is removed and it is a may on the draw so no decking issues either

But I didn't want it to just be a win the game card

Its entire purpose is to be a higher-priced luxury set, akin to Modern Horizons 2 or Commander Legends before it
