Dealing one damage and buffing your turn-two play are both solid effects, and the back half of the card is a surprisingly powerful creature that can get in for hasty damage while denying your opponent any fun graveyard effects they might have planned
The deck was tied together with the pre-errated "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest" which back then could activate its effect during the damage step
The classic example of this is the card One with Nothing from Saviors of Kamigawa : One with Nothing has but three words of rules text, yet baffles a lot of players
Enchantment Rowan's Grim Search Bargain (You may sacrifice an artifact, enchantment, or token as you cast this spell.) If this spell was bargained, look at the top four cards of your library, then put up to two of them back on top of your library in any order and the rest into your graveyard
The color combinations look really nice to me (especially the Metal/Psychic/Lightning and the Fighting/Dark/Fairy)
