The only way to summon it properly (aside from its own self-revival effect) is with Rise of the Snake Deity, which can only be activated when (not if) the player's Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes is destroyed by a card effect
Formud Skipper X LIGHT Level 1 [ Cyberse / Effect ] ATK 0 DEF 0 During your Main Phase: You can reveal 1 Link Monster in your Extra Deck, and if you do, when you Link Summon this turn, you can treat this card as Link Material with the same name, Type, and Attribute as the revealed monster
Some other random goodies you might like: Maddening Hex (this would be HILARIOUS with some doublers), Chandra's Ignition (if you target something with lifelink remember it's the CREATURE doing the damage, so you can gain a TON of life off of this if the board is fairly full, and it's great with a Deathtouch source like Gift of Doom), Fire Covenant (one of the best burn spells ever), and MAYBE a Rionya, Fire Dancer since you've got all those Sorceries
As you might have guessed, this archetype is designed to work well with this official card: Once per turn, by paying 300 Life Points, rearrange the face-down Defense Position monsters on your side of the field, then return them in face-down Defense Position
And before you ask, no, this is nothing like Duel Monsters
Oblivion Ring and Bramblecrush can both answer a planeswalker despite not having that word in their text box
