Opponents wont be able to easily sit back and let the black player go all Dark Confidant on themselves that easily

It becomes a progressively bigger beater the more creatures you play, and often makes blocking either difficult or straight-up impossible once it's accumulated enough +1/+1 counters

Ive run it in creature-dense shells where I didnt want to commit to fragile combo lines but still needed consistent access to key pieces
