Its not overly difficult to untap and spend three mana during your first main phase after your opponents have dedicated all of their best creatures to swinging at other players, which means that Split Up is likely to be an instant classic of the board wipe genre
Basically, regenerate shields a creature from lethal damage or destroy effects
Understanding that the Krosan Beast began as a Squirrel relied a lot on the creature type and players being able to fill in the blanks
While I can see a need to put more Equipment in this particular deck, as theres only 16 core Equipment cards and drawing cards isnt always kind, its still a very well-rounded deck, with simple but powerful mechanics
Kamahl, Fist of Krosa Id personally recommend this card as part of the 99 instead of as your commander, but that doesnt mean you cant search for ways to make it fun in some absurd ways
