Other sapphire cards like How Far Ill Go and Friend Like Me, are also excellent cards to put into a deck with Gramma Tala, Spirit of the Ocean - thanks to their abilities allowing players to put cards into their inkwell and thus gain yet more lore.
It also reduces the first-turn advantage, since regular Basic Pokmon need multiple turns to evolve
