We're getting 1/1 Birds with flying and vigilance whenever we cast noncreature spells while Hermes, Overseer of ElpisHermes, Overseer of Elpis is around

Putting one damage anywhere you like can pick off creatures and make your removal spells stronger, while your ultimate will win you the game and means Wrenn cannot just be ignored

That alone is great in Vampire or token decks

I found it a bit difficult to get a hold on how to best use this deck - and there was a time or two I ate through Items too quickly - but there's a solid "slow and steady" strategy here that was beneficial once I played around with it more
