The format ended up being dominated by some of the most powerful midrange decks its ever known, and the winners were usually the players who found the best way to stay alive for as long as possible
Lets take a look at a few hypothetical decks, starting with an update of G/W: Creatures (17) 1 Nissa, Vastwood Seer 4 Hangarback Walker 1 Linvala, the Preserver 4 Sylvan Advocate 2 Archangel Avacyn 2 Bruna, the Fading Light 3 Gisela, the Broken Blade Planeswalkers (4) Lands (26) Spells (13) This is clearly a different take on G/W Tokens, functionally removing Gideon, Ally of Zendikar from the deck to incorporate the Angel package
Though it hasnt arrived without some legal controversy, it appears to be an early hit, at least if the crushing lines it causes at game conventions are any indication, with fans waiting hours to get their hands on product and promotional cards
