Discard was quickly thrown out and replaced with direct damage, mainly to keep purple from playing like a traditional blue-black control deck (ironically, this made it play somewhat like blue-red, the two colors that mix to create purple, but this was a coincidence)
A common payoff for discard effects is damage, as with Entropic Battlecruiser and Megrim
Variant accuracy The gap between a regular and a holo or a reverse holo and an Illustration Rare can be 10100x in price
Because those characters have their own stories and motivations, who you choose to travel with often says a lot about how you like to play the game
I did not look at the reverses, so I dont know if the reverse Basic Energy cards are RE1 or RE2 cards
