I find myself holding it a lot but it is a pretty nice card to be sat on (unless you are mana screwed and are holding a bunch of other top end...)
With the right cards, specifically equipment like Shuko and Lightning Greaves that cost zero mana to equip, can quickly run through all your creatures in a turn, giving you tons of triggers of Nadus explore-like effect

The best sets for Gengar will include a mix of sets with varying price points, but unfortunately, there isn't a clear option if you want high value for low risk
In regards to DnD I would have loved this aura to lose some toughness per damage taken to be more in line with the actual spell in the game (and to give it a chance in draft/sealed to be removed by swinging into it rather than having to wait for someone to remove the actual aura or creature)
