More mana, massive creatures, and bigger turns
Archmage of Runes solves this nicely, allowing you to just play ritual style cards to generate increasing amounts of mana while having enough remaining cards to keep playing them
This is made all the better by the notion being turned on its head somewhat with the Core Set 2021 printing of Village Rites - and its Kaldheim blood eagle art reprint, while featuring a different context, is no less disturbing in its own way
So, what happens if we take Sea God's Revenge, Contradict, and Jace's Ingenuitythree cards that fall somewhere between unplayable and replacement level in terms of competitive Magic and mash them all together into one card
These locations add a whole new dimension of gameplay and a fresh new spin to every deck
Any combo that only needs one card and a Commander is fantastic, and being in a colour like black that doesn't normally get this sort of thing makes it even better
