All three have strong designs that feel like they could support their own decks with interesting mechanics and are only improved with partner

It won't win any games by itself, but Starting Town is exactly the sort of subtle card that quietly keeps a deck running

Theyre still better than Obscuring Haze, mind you, which is unfortunately the only dud in this batch of promos

It's possible that redesigning the deck would solve that problem, but I'm skeptical of the benefits

Magecraft is also not prowess, so when you board in that Rest in Peace or Alpine Moon, it will not be triggering or attacking that turn
