I've run a pretty good Purphoros deck and currently run a Zada, Hedron Grinder and a Grenzo, Havoc Raiser deck

Even with that, it is a solid body

It may have been outclassed in recent years by Modern Horizons Kaldra Compleat, but the power of that card doesnt match the theatrics and flair of the original

Arc Trail is played in most red decks that have the options on it and it is a lovely counter to Cradle

This means if you're gaining life during your opponent's turn, you can continuously grow your creatures to swing out for massive damage when your turn comes back around
