Basically, the less established your board state the less likely you are to have a great target for your auras, and the more it will hurt if your opponent removes that target with an aura on the stack
For example, if your commander is [c]Kess, Dissident Mage[/c], you can only play blue, black, and red cards (or cards that are a combination of these colors)
So, it seemed fitting that Commune with Beavers would do the same
