The God side, a mono Green creature, effectively gives all of your legendary creatures the ability to generate mana of any colour

Thats the best of both worlds when it comes to build-around cards

Whenever Goreclaw attacks, each creature you control with power 4 or greater gets +1/+1 and gains trample until end of turn

As for the Reserved List, it would be great if something would change, but at this point, I've mostly given up hope
