It easily kills a creature later in the game, with the counterspell upside

They are also able to quest for one lore, you know, if you don't have any enemies to beat up

Just look at the Primordial Hydra (or pretty much any hydra)

You can tap it with two mana at sorcery speed to sac an artifact and then drop one onto the battlefield from your library for a one higher mana cost
