Pokmon today have higher HP than ever, but with damage increasing to compensate, the gameplay is still fairly similar to past sets -- the main difference being that old cards with lower HP and attack are no longer viable, unless they have an extremely powerful ability to make themselves relevant

Granted, a coin flip is still a coin flip, but with the capability of reducing that randomness inherent in all coin flip attacks, I can definitely see what the card creators were up to
