Released in August 2025, the Fabled set essentially serves as a soft reset for Lorcana, taking some sets out of play and reprinting other cards to better balance the game
Ritual of Soot isnt perfect, most notably not being able to destroy Vine Mare or Nullhide Ferox, but its still more reliable than Phyrexian Scriptures
Where it does shine is how it buffs all your guys elves, take note by giving them not only trample, but also +X/+X, where X is the number of creatures you control
Even though I think Ram may be a little bit worse than these comparisons, I will not be including this card in my top 8 today because of the following announcement on June 6th: Now that Cranial Ram has been disqualified lets move onto our cards that missed top 8 on breakers
From being the most played for much of the format's life to now barely part of Tier 3, the deck has been supplanted by the Mono Black version that seems to have a more favorable game one against the other top decks in the meta
