At a certain point go wide decks just cant attack you productively if they dont deal with this, and that has some value

Each player would have a Planar deck in addition to their normal deck, from which cards would be drawn into the Command Zone, at which point they would begin impacting the game.

It's not a strict upgrade in the same sense that Escape Tunnel is, but Ash Barrens provides the same level of mana fixing, subbing out for a basic land of your choice
