If there were any lands that were also artifacts before the abilitys effect applied to them, those lands would become artifact land creatures, not just "creatures," or land creatures. The effect allows them to retain both the card type artifact" and the card type land. In addition, each land affected by the ability retains any land types and supertypes it had before the ability took effect
They provide the fuel for the powerful attacks and abilities of the game's creatures
Breath Weapon Pauper is a format without many board wipes, so when something serviceable like Breath Weapon comes along, it's sure to hit the stack
I dont expect Pocket to actually do any of these things, but my little frustrations with the game are starting to add up
Then the +1/+1 countering can really work nicely in a deck that goes wide like aggro and tokens and counters matter
It can be compared to Blood Artist, but in this case you don't need any additional sacrifice mechanics
