Cask No. 156.8 Highland dry farmhouse cider and freshlyThe initial nose proffered many lemons! Lemon bonbons, limoncello, lemon curd, lemon drizzle cake, lemon barley water. After many groves of lemons were snuffled through, we also detected aniseed balls, virgin olive oil, and strawberries and cream. Water brought out tea tree oil, custard powder, bergamot, lemon thyme and wee minty hints. The palate, when neat, was superbly mouthcoating, with shortbread, tart au citron (more lemons, really), some
